There's a new top cop in Surfside. Mayor Charles Burkett confirming Henry Doce [[doe-say]] is replacing former Police Chief Antonio Marciante who resigned after publicly defending the handcuffing of a teenaged activist. Battery charges are expected to be formally dropped Monday against 18-year-old Joshua Epstein who's accused of pushing former Vice-Mayor Jeff Rose. There's no video of the incident.
