Governor Rick Scott will be in Palm Beach County Wednesday.
He's kicking off his "Fighting for Florida's Future" tour with a stop in Riviera Beach.
The governor is using the visit to encourage Floridians to contact members of the state legislature and urge them to invest in what he considers to be key priorities for our future. Scott will lay those out and likely discuss the Lake Okeechobee water bill that is headed to his desk.
The House and Senate have reached an agreement to borrow $800 million to build a reservoir south of the lake as a way to curb discharges which were linked to a toxic algae crisis last summer.
The governor will be in Riviera Beach at 2:30 p.m.
