A Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy who was injured while chasing suspects this morning is out of the hospital.
Deputies responded to an armed robbery at a bar near Okeechobee Boulevard and Haverhill Road early this morning.
That led to a chase along eastbound Okeechobee to Church Street, which is just west of I-95. The suspect turned right there and flipped the vehicle. The suspects then got out of the car and started firing at deputies, who fired back.
The injured deputy fell and was not shot.
At 11 a.m., the Sheriff's Office still has the area of Church Street and Old Okeechobee Road shut down, but Okeechobee Boulevard is not affected.
There have been no arrests.
