Falcon 9 Rocket Set To Launch Satellite From Kennedy Space Center

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is set to launch Monday evening from the Kennedy Space Center.  

It will be carrying a $1.6 billion communications satellite to expand internet access for airline passengers, ship crews and the military.  

The launch window opens at 7:20 p.m., with the launch scheduled for 7:21 p.m.

As of 10 a.m. there is an 80 percent chance of favorable conditions during the 49 minute window on pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center.
