One person is dead and two are injured, including a state trooper after a crash along northbound I-95 in Lake Worth.
Three lanes were blocked for hours after this crash, which occurred soon after 3 p.m. just south of 10th Ave. North. They have since reopened.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the trooper and a Road Ranger were at the scene of a previous accident when the driver of a car crashed into the Road Ranger's truck, which then slammed into the trooper's patrol car.
The car then crashed into the barrier. A female passenger in that car was killed, pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The trooper was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
