Palm Beach County's Jobless Rate Drops Below 4% In April

Governor Rick Scott was in South Florida Friday, announcing the state's latest jobs numbers.

Palm Beach County businesses added 14,300 new private-sector jobs over the year in April. The area’s unemployment rate was 3.9 percent, dropping 0.5 percentage point in the last year. 

Statewide, Florida businesses created 15,000 new jobs in April and the unemployment rate dropped to 4.5 percent, the lowest since November 2007.

The governor made the announcement from Miami International Airport, with the folks from Latam Airlines.
