In the wake of this week's downpours, Palm Beach County Mosquito Control is gearing up for a boom in the area's mosquito population.
They will be watching one breed especially carefully...the Aedes Egypti, which can carry the Zika virus.
Governor Rick Scott has already held a number of Zika roundtables across the state this year, including here in Palm Beach County.
There have so far been 3 reported travel related cases of Zika in Palm Beach County this year.
