Vice President Mike Pence and other members of the Trump administration are in South Florida.
Pence, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin will attend a conference on Central American policy at Florida International University in Miami.
The Secret Service has been on campus ahead of the visit, making preparations to ensure everyone's safety.
Leaders from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala will also attend the conference.
President Trump will be in Miami on Friday to reveal his plans involving U.S. policy toward Cuba.
