Man To Change Plea On Weapons/Drugs Charges In Jupiter Triple Murder Case

Charles Vorpagel Mug Shot

The man who rented the Jupiter home where a triple murder took place on Super Bowl Sunday is expected to change his plea.

According to court documents, 27-year old Charles Vorpagel will be pleading guilty to federal gun and drug charges.  He also agreed to waive his right to a speedy trial.

Vorpagel was arrested after marijuana, xanex and several guns were found inside the home, during the investigation into the murders.  Vorpagel told authorities that three masked people stormed into his backyard and began shooting.  He escaped but was injured.

One of the suspects in the shooting, Christopher Vasata, is scheduled to go on trial for murder this summer.  Nobody else has been charged.
