Tim Tebow's First Start As A St. Lucie Met Delayed By Rain

The excitement over Tim Tebow's first game as a member of the St. Lucie Mets will have to wait.  That was supposed to be Tuesday night at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie, but a half hour before the first pitch, a strong thunderstorm caused the game to be canceled.

There were people at the park from as far away as North Carolina, to get a glimpse of the former Florida Gator and NFL quarterback.

The teams will play a doubleheader Wednesday, starting at 4 p.m. Both games are set for seven innings.

There will be a 30-minute break in between games.

Fans with tickets to last night's game can exchange those for tickets to both of today's games.
