Florida School Grades Are Out: Palm Beach County Retains Its B Grade

The Florida Department of Education is out with its school grades for the academic year that just wrapped up.

The number of A-rated school districts in Florida went from three to eleven, including Martin County.

Palm Beach County retains its B-rating, and is the state's highest performing large urban school district.

34 percent of local schools got A-grades, compared with 30 percent in 2016.

Five Palm Beach County schools received F-grades.  Three of those are charter schools, and the other two are aimed at educating struggling students.
