Hysterical Media Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for September 26th:
Bottom Line: Here are today's headlines brought to you by your friends in the generally Godless, soulless & slanderous news media
The NFL Won't Forget September 24, 2017 Anytime Soon Jack Holmes, Esquire
Excerpt: The president set out to demonize a group of primarily black athletes exercising their First Amendment rights to protest, silently, during a ceremony celebrating American values because they do not think America is living up to those values.
Ahh yes, attempting to play the race card as you advance the abject lie that what the players are doing is exercising free speech. Of course, the inconvenient truth is that many in the media count on you being as ignorant as the merry band of ignorant ingrates. Not only is there no such thing as free speech on a football field or representing a team/league - the NFL's one of the most restrictive employers anywhere regarding expression (unless you play the race card apparently). Maybe players that are penalized should accuse refs of the opposite race of being racists too. What's more is that now...
If you don't approve of the protesting of the national anthem and the U.S. flag you're a racist. I agree the NFL won't forget September 24th, 2017 anytime soon. I suspect it's a day that will in time cost the NFL billions. I wonder how many of these brave culture warriors would stand their sorry asses up straight with the respect that flag deserves if their salaries were about to be cut in half? I now find myself as a disenfranchised football fan partially hoping for that to happen so that a younger generation of Americans won't grow up thinking the flag representing the sacrifices made by millions, providing the very freedom that's being abused, isn't a sign of repression (due to extreme ignorance and lack of appreciation).
Trump's NFL Rant Proves He Doesn't Get American Values Dean Obeidallah, CNN
What's more rich? CNN attempting to be the arbiter of American values or their hilarious attempt to assert that multi-millionaire players are somehow oppressed?
The NFL Beat Trump. Soundly. Jerry Brewer, Washington Post
So now protesting the national anthem and the flag of the United States of America is a way to beat Trump? It's ironic that when Colin Kaepernick and the merry band of ignorant ingrates started this offensive escapade Barack Obama was President and for some reason that didn't come up...
Time Is Ripe for Medicare for All Bernie Sanders, USA Today
Yes, because the more control the federal government took over healthcare the better and cheaper your care has become so why wouldn't you! They really do think we're that stupid.
