Hysterical Media Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for October 4th:
Bottom Line: These are you daily doses of nonsense from the generally godless, soulless and slanderous news media...
Someday, a Woman Like Hillary Clinton Will Win Cheryl Strayed, Time
Excerpt: My kids didn’t have school the day after Donald Trump won the presidential election and eventually, near noon, they came into my room to see what was wrong with me. Perhaps they’d come to me at their father’s prompting. Perhaps they’d heard me weeping. They’d never seen me this way before. Inconsolable. “Hillary didn’t lose!” I insisted, as they sat on the bed around me, even as Hillary’s voice drifted into the room — her concession speech, on the radio downstairs, my husband shouting up, “Honey, you should come listen to this!” I would not listen. I would never listen. The sound of Hillary Clinton conceding to Donald Trump is what compelled me to rise at last, if only to shut my bedroom door.“It can’t be true,” I said to my kids, back in my bed encampment. “It can’t be. It can’t!”“I know,” said my daughter with real sorrow in her voice. “Is Trump going to ruin our lives?” asked my son, with real worry.
First thought...This is really what Time has come to? Second thought...Wow these kids are screwed.
Mass Shootings a Uniquely American Problem Sen. Chris Murphy, Washington Post
So, they think you're stupid (as politics are put above all else). As deadly and horrific as the Las Vegas attack was. Factually speaking, it wasn't even the deadliest shooting at a concert. That happened in Paris (a place where you don't have the right to bear arms) but yet this is a uniquely American problem right? I've spoken at length at the incredible irresponsibility of rushing to political judgement before even knowing the facts of the case in Las Vegas. Shame on all who rush to judgement without complete information. It's disgusting to put political agendas above all else.
To Rebuild, Trump Must Show Civility After the Storm Donna Brazile, The Hill
Excerpt: Leave it to President Trump to pick the worst time to show his worst self. Over the weekend, while San Juan’s Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz was busy trying to bring more attention to the people still suffering after Hurricane Maria, Trump took to Twitter to personally criticize her. Mr. President, now is not the time for a new low.
Is it just me or is it incredibly annoying to have someone who's dishonest, discredited and corrupt lecture others (Donna Brazile is the former CNN hack who colluded with Hillary Clinton by feeding her debate questions in advance of the debate)?
