Hysterical Media Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for October 12th:
Bottom Line: These are you daily doses of nonsense from the generally godless, soulless and slanderous news media...
Virginia Is for Haters Paul Krugman, New York Times
This is a hit-piece on GOP candidate Ed Gillespie. In so many words he suggests that if you don't support single-payer government run healthcare for all, expanded well-fare programs and think that the United States is economically unfair you're a hater. Call me a hater but the person who's for those things is a socialist. The world is filled with a bunch of those types of countries & I'd be more than happy to see you leave for one.
Eminem Unleashes Primal Scream Felt by Many About Trump Chris Cillizza, CNN
Excerpt: "All these horrible tragedies and he's bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm," the rapper, whose given name is Marshall Mathers, said at one point. He labeled Trump "'a kamikaze that will probably cause a nuclear holocaust" at another.
Lots of the rest of the lyrics in the rap, which ran more than four minutes, can't be printed here. You should go watch it all. What's as important as the words Eminem says are the way he says them. He's angry. Really angry. He shouts. He huffs and puffs. He stalks around what looks like a parking garage with a group of African-American men standing silently behind him.
First thought - I mean when you put it like that who wouldn't want to subject themselves to that compelling messaging... Second thought. Anyone else find all of this more than a little disturbing? I mean it's Eminem and CNN on Eminem but still ya know?
Pruitt and Trump Further Endanger the Planet Amy Sorkin, The New Yorker
You mean they're officially worse than cow flatulence? Holy Cow! They still can't hold a candle to that dinosaur poo though. Where's Captain Planet when you need him?
Until tomorrow...
