Who really won with the not-so Affordable Care Act:
Bottom Line: After the President's executive action the average publicly traded health-insurance and related company fell by 4.5%. The President stated it wasn't his goal to make insurance companies rich. If you want to see just how meaningful the ACA was for health insurance companies - literally at your expense - consider this. The performance of those companies since the ACA passed.
Since the passage of the ACA the average healthcare company has appreciated in value by 217%
Over that same period of time the average member of the S&P 500 has appreciated by 107%
Any questions on who really made out on this deal? After all there were 42+ million people with health insurance last year who couldn't afford any healthcare. The average per person cost of those plans $6,500. So, they got there's and you're left holding the bag. And yet the media and leftists' buddies still defend this nonsense.
