Lynda Figueredo with our CBS 12 partners joined us this morning to talk about the story she's been working on, "Doped for Profit: Why greyhound racing may have drug problem."
An alarming number of racing greyhounds tested positive for cocaine and other performance enhancing drugs in Florida this year, according to state records.
Random urine samples are taken at the track and sent to a state lab for testing.
CBS12 Investigates found there is long lag time between a failed test and any kind of administrative discipline.
The full report tonight at 11 p.m. on CBS 12.
