The Climate Crisis? It's Capitalism, Stupid Benjamin Fong, New York Times
I don't even know where to start. Now we have a NY Times piece (emphasis on piece) asserting that capitalism is killing the planet. If that's the case the New York Times should inform its shareholders that it's no longer interested in making money and providing a ROI for its shareholders. They should also stop printing the paper because that's literally killing trees to make money. Now here's a question for these anti-American fools. What drives innovation? What drives cleaner technology? Oh, that's right, capitalism. Never mind the fact that the United States produces less carbon today than we did in the 1920's due to extraordinary environmental improvements. The differences are clear from our waterways to our air quality in urban areas and yet it's the very thing that created the improvements and is driving the next generation of still cleaner technology that's to blame. This is a warning for parents to beware of what your kids are being taught in school. In many cases it's become as bad as literally suggesting that capitalism is killing the planet.

So, Obama and his congressional allies gave control of the healthcare industry to the government and health insurance companies leaving you caught in the middle paying more for all of it. Naturally the way you fix a problem is to give total control to the entity that already made it worse. I understand that love is blind and for Socialists that wish to hand over freedom in the name of government control, you're clearly not seeing but this just in. According to the Medicare trustee, Medicare already enters insolvency, ie bankruptcy in 2028. This means that Medicare as currently constructed is already legalized fraud. Taking in money from people now to pay bureaucrats and current claims while promising to pay out benefits to you later that it already says it won't be able to do. While this is called a Ponzi scheme when someone other than the government is doing it, it's still a fraudulent scam anyway you slice it. So naturally the answer for those on the left is to take all of healthcare and hand it to the scam artists running Medicare. Brilliant.
