Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for November 28th:
Bottom Line: These are your daily doses of nonsense from the generally godless, soulless and slanderous (GSS) media...
How Donald Trump Ruined Thanksgiving Derek Robertson, Politico
Excerpt: With the help of data-tracking service SafeGraph, (researchers) traced the movements of more than 10 million Americans across the past two Thanksgiving holidays. They focused specifically on people who traveled from Republican-leaning areas to Democratic-leaning areas and vice versa, and found that politically divided families spent on average 20 to 30 minutes less time around the dinner table in 2016 than they did in 2015. That added up to a loss of 62 million person-hours of Thanksgiving time across the country—and specifically, the authors estimated, a loss of “27 million person-hours of cross-partisan Thanksgiving discourse.”
So now it's Donald Trump's fault that some families contain bigots? How do you think the average conservative felt during the Obama years? Most of us on the right simply aren't inclined to sit around and bitch about things...trying to make everyone around us as miserable as them. We tend to be inclined towards making the best with what we can control in our lives. It's too bad the same evidently can't be said for those who "resist".
Donald Trump's Eternal Feud With Blackness Vann Newkirk, The Atlantic
Excerpt: In a presidency defined by its unpredictability, one of the few constants is the president’s eagerness to attack black people for failing to show deference.
Say what? The President is now a racist because he called out Marshawn Lynch (and the white commissioner btw) for protesting our national anthem but standing for the Mexican national anthem. He's also attacking black people because after personally getting involved to free three black UCLA basketball players from prison in China one of the fathers took public shots at the President? If Trump didn't like black people wouldn't it have been easier to not even address the UCLA basketball players locked up for 5 to 10 in China for shoplifting?
Racism is alive and well unfortunately but in this example, it's Vann Newkirk of the Atlantic who's the racist. It's unfortunate that intelligent arguments aren't even required for such slanderous material about the President to be perpetuated by major media outlets.
The Unexamined Brutality of the Male Libido Stephen Marche, New York Times
If your jaw dropped for the headline, the story itself won't change anything. In a desperate attempt to explain away egregious sexual harassment by a myriad of mostly leftists, now we're to learn that the male libido itself is brutal and to blame or something like that? I don't even think NOW is that off the rails yet. For the record I've never once engaged in conduct that any woman could credibly call suggestive, let alone harassing, and I don't have anything to blame on my male libido.
Until tomorrow...
