Bottom Line: These are the stories you don't want to miss (but probably would if I didn't find them for you)...

Excerpt: Two and a half years ago, I began covering the Steinle murder case and quickly came to the conclusion that politics had killed Kate along with the bullet.

First, the city and county of San Francisco refused to turn the criminal Zarate over to ICE after the feds asked for him to be detained. The sheriff of the county allowed him to be released from jail knowing he had a long rap sheet and five deportations. Citing San Francisco’s Sanctuary policy, the sheriff and most other SF politicians were unrepentant even after Kate was shot by Zarate. Outrageous doesn’t even begin to describe that.

Many will point to the Clinton scandals and wonder why seemingly so many people within the government were able to live outside of the law. The explanation is generally that they "were the government". That's not a comforting explanation but it does provide some degree of understanding from an attempt to rationalize. For example, let's say Hillary Clinton & co. were convicted of whatever you think she may have been guilty of doing. If President Obama had pardoned her then it'd potentially be a moot point. Not that it'd be justified. But there's no explanation as to why and how local officials can break the law at will and get away with it. Every local official who breaks federal law is every bit as bad as the drug runner who gets busted with their stash. Why aren't local officials held accountable under the law? They have no ability to decide what laws they like and which ones they don't. They're criminals plain and simple and it's as dangerous for them to operate outside of the law as any street thug. Just ask Kate's family.

Excerpt:

  • The ABC News blunder on Friday is the latest example of an overzealous anti-Trump news media.

  • President Trump's attacks are being used as an apparent excuse for journalists to abandon best practices and forget current and past misdeeds.

  • The push to oust Trump seems to have engulfed almost the entire industry and threatens its survival.

Amen. It's not crazy talk if it's real. Already this year three CNN tenured news professionals have been fired for falsifying news. James Comey, during his testimony before Congress after being dispatched from the FBI alluded to stories advanced by the Washington Post and New York Times, were fake and the sources weren't reliable. This is the second time that Brian Ross at ABC News has falsified reporting against the Trump administration this year! There's a trend here. What's more is that it's part of an even longer anti-Republican trend. Lest anyone forget Dan Rather and CBS News took faked records and advanced them against President Bush during his re-election. One of Brian Williams biggest lies was a shot at the Bush administration as well. That being his fake account of flooding around his hotel with bodies floating in the waters. It goes on. Many in the mainstream media are the enemies of the administration because they've become enemies of the truth. Take something as straight forward as tax reform for example. I can tell you point blank that every media outlet, reporter, commentator, etc. who's stated that anyone who pays federal income taxes will pay more in federal income tax if either of the Congressional Republican plans were to become law - is lying to you. Yet it's all over the place. It's pervasive and many in the MSM are rotten to their leftists cores.

As I stated last week. Just about anyone, especially those who liked Bill Clinton as President, is a hypocrite if they try to suggest that elections are about the character of candidates. You can attempt to lie to yourself and those who buy into your message but the truth is pretty apparent. For that reason, and given that at worst Roy Moore was a real creep 40 years ago, he will be the next Senator from Alabama. Those on the left have probably scared enough of the GOP base in the previous week to ponder what would happen if the Senate were to flip to Schumer & co. next year. As I stated Friday. Moore wins in Alabama and hold your hypocrisy please.
