Bottom Line: These are the stories you don't want to miss (but probably would if I didn't find them for you)...

Excerpt: The quest for collusion is over. Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s Russia investigation has not — either through leaks or announced indictments — revealed any collusion, and Democrats and their allies in the liberal mainstream media know that it never will. This reality is setting in among the president’s clearer-thinking foes, and they are transitioning to an obstruction of justice claim in an effort to sustain the fight with President Trump. The only thing we know for certain is that Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn have been indicted for or admitted to things that fall short of collusion and have nothing to do with the president.

So, here's the problem with our society today based on a corrupt and dishonest media that's covering a corrupt and dishonest investigation (Muller's investigation). Perception is reality, right? How many people think Trayvon Martin was murdered? How many people think that the Ferguson riots started when an innocent young man held up his hands and said "hands up don't shoot?". How many people think our embassy in Benghazi was stormed in a spontaneous demonstration in response to a YouTube video? How many people know that the ACLU was marching alongside the white-supremacists for free speech in Charlottesville? How many people who called the President anti-Semitic know that the President's daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren are Jewish for God's sake?

Are you picking up my point?

President Trump coined the phrase "fake news" but it's been with us long before he arrived on the political scene and has simply exacerbated in the wake of the Trump Presidency. I had someone walk in my office cheering for impeachment that was finally going to happen because Muller had now proven collusion. That person got that message out of the reporting on MSNBC. It's more important than ever before to remain informed and seek truth because our society is rife with people that have been readily consuming an altered state of reality for many years now. At some point it's liable to be dangerous. Mostly right now it's annoying. Let's hope it remains just an annoyance.

Since this Mueller investigation began we've come to learn that he was at least complicit in the cover-up of the Uranium One scandal and that he's had corrupt political hacks as part of his investigative team that also happened to be former high-ranking FBI officials under him. Ironically enough, we're closer to having proven Mueller-Russia collusion than Trump-Russia collusion.

Holy cow I have two Washington Post articles in today's Important headlines' story. That's a first and I won't hold my breath that it'll continue but this piece is an especially well-written article about what's really going on here. We're all losing in this case. Why? What happened to the day when if you were confronted by someone who offended you, you choose not to do business with them? No not anymore. By God I'm going to sue to over a freaking cake and take it all the way to the Supreme Court. Conversely, when was it that selling a product to someone was an endorsement of whatever they'd do with that product?

What's lost in all of this is reason and sensibility. There just isn't much room for it anymore. Too many people are walking around waiting to be offended and too many people are willing to fight until the bitter end on principals that might not even apply. Issues like this didn't used to exist in part because of common sense. That died a long time ago and so here we are...all losers in this together.
