FPL says they were passed with the initial task of 93,000 repairs at intersections around the state after Hurricane Irma passed, and still have 27,000 tickets. There are some street lights still out in Boca Raton.
BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS 12) — Dark streets and dark intersections.
Street lights knocked out by Hurricane Irma still aren’t working now, three months later, prompting some neighbors to question what’s taking Florida Power and Light so long?
On the north side of Glades Road in Boca Raton, east of I-95, it’s not hard to find street lights that are out.
One resident says they’ve been out since Hurricane Irma and it shouldn’t take FPL more than 3 months to get these fixed and working again.
