Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for January 2nd:

Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for January 2nd:

Bottom Line: These are your daily doses of nonsense from the (often GSS) media and my hot takes...

Excerpt: President Donald Trump began the last day of his holiday stay in Florida doing one of his favorite things: golfing.  He arrived at Trump International Golf Club around 8:50 a.m.  His partners this morning are the Funks — PGA Champions Tour Player Fred Funk and his son Taylor Funk.

Hot Take: Two points to the Post for creativity. Btw, nearly a year into his Presidency we have a pretty good idea on what his favorite spots for golfing are...

  1. Trump National in Bedminister New Jersey: 27 rounds

  1. Trump International in West Palm Beach: 26 rounds

  1. Trump National in Potomac Virginia: 23 rounds

  1. Trump National in Jupiter: 3 rounds

No others have been patronized more than once.

Excerpt: What could be a better symbol of the year in politics than Democrats lashing out in blind anger over how events unfolded electorally in 2017? It began before Donald Trump’s inauguration, and continued unabated for 12 months.

January: The Women’s March on Washington was highlighted by pop singer Madonna dropping several “f-bombs” and telling the crowd: “Yes, I’m angry. … Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House!”

When it was her turn at the microphone, actress Ashley Judd compared Trump to Hitler, accused the president of harboring sexual fantasies about his daughter, and compared menstruation (favorably) to Trump’s “thinning hair.”

Hot Take: How could we ever forget the wisdom of Madonna, and the nasty woman herself, Ashley Judd. Btw, no one ever mentions that Janet Jackson was the original nasty woman. That's disrespectful. Anyway. How'd it work out for you if you spent the year all nasty and stuff? It's kinda like being the Grinch. The Whos down in Whoville (the rest of us), just enjoyed the best year for wealth creation, employment and economic opportunity in 10 to 17 years (based on what stats you look at). So, remain angry and nasty if you must but know that the big beautiful Christmas present promised by the President is here today. Happy 2018!

Hot take: Haven't the Democrats generally already thrown her overboard? What does it say when the New York Times hasn't?

Until tomorrow...
