Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for April 13th-Facebook data shock

Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for April 13th Facebook data shock & Mueller Madness

Bottom Line: These are the daily doses of nonsense in the media and my hot takes on them...

Hot Take: So, what's wrong with this picture? Apparently much less than meets the eye. What was first reported as a male police chief who went to party with female officers in bikinis complete with sex toys has turned out to be something altogether less salacious. An independent 93-page investigation finds that the police chief didn't violate any policies, there wasn't any evident inappropriate behavior and there weren't even any sex toys (there was a bottle opener and a water gun). Details, right? But that didn't stop a decorated 23-year veteran being remaindered and threatened by the city manager. I wonder who's sacrificed more for the communities they're tasked with serving?

Hot Take: In the wake of the Facebook testimony this week, in which at least one Senator, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut asked Mark Zuckerberg for information that's already available (not uncommon – most Senators demonstrated they didn't really get what goes on with Facebook) with Zuckerberg pointing out that you can download the info already... Many have started to do so (like this writer for the New York Times). It is eye opening. I did a story on how to download this information after this data scandal broke originally. If you missed it here's what Facebook has on you... It's 70 different categories of info:

Hot Take: Ironic given that the Obama administration's Justice, State & FBI went full on worse than Nixon and Mueller's still raiding attorney's offices in the name of Stormy Daniels. But why let facts stand in the way of good misinformation now right?

Until tomorrow...
