Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for April 17th – Kids sue Rick Scott

Hysterical Headlines (Funny or Absurd) for April 17th  Kids sue Rick Scott & Levine's bid for Gov. Based on impeaching Trump

Bottom Line: These are the daily doses of nonsense in the media and my hot takes on them...

Excerpt: Florida Gov. Rick Scott doesn't talk about climate change.

He notoriously declared "I'm not a scientist" when asked his thoughts on humanity's well-documented impact on the warming planet, banned the phrase in his administration (a charge he denies) and backed up President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris accord.

On Monday, an unusual group intends to sue Scott for ignoring the climate threat: Kids.

Hot Take: So, here's one to rationalize for a moment. Recently surveying showed that two-thirds of young-adults don't even know the basics of the holocaust after having completed our public education system but those still in school know enough about Florida's role in "climate change" to sue? That's special. What's more is that God has been removed from our schools but something with less historical documentation has taken its place. Ahh priorities.

  • He should be impeached - Philip Levine

Excerpt: Rumors are running rampant that Trump could fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein any day now, with Robert Mueller not far behind.

As Donald Trump heads to Miami today, we need to send a clear message that his efforts to obstruct the Mueller investigation from continuing will be met with full force from Floridians.

Let’s also be clear: if Trump fires Mueller, he should be impeached.

Why do we need now more than ever to stop Trump's obstruction?

Hot Take: So now we have a Democratic candidate for Governor running on Trump impeachment. Umm, what exactly does that have to do with running for governor? Is he confused about our system of government? Should we be alarmed that a Democratic primary race for Governor involves the issue of impeaching the President? While we're at it what's Philip's stance on the Syrian conflict? I mean as long as he's running on issues that have nothing to do with the job he's running for...

Hot Take: Ahh yes, now we're back to the President being a raging buffoon (because ya know buffoons, especially of the raging variety, regularly created multi-billion dollar multiple national enterprises that operate in over 20 countries)... And btw, what is the New York Times also saying about you?

Until tomorrow...
