At least six local schools will be taking part in the National Walkout to push for stronger gun control laws.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Friday, April 20th marks nineteen years since 12 students and a teacher were killed at Columbine High School in Colorado.
It was the deadliest high school shooting in U.S. history, until February 14th 2018.
That’s when a gunman walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland and killed 17 people.
