A call for the Boca Raton mayor to step down.
Susan Haynie was arrested this week on charges of misuse of public office, corruption, official misconduct and perjury. She has since dropped her bid for a Palm Beach County Commission seat and now, her Deputy Mayor Scott Singer is telling her to resign.
The Governor is investigating.
Haynie paid a $500 fine to the county's Ethics Commission over allegations that she used her position to vote on issues having a favorable financial impact on a developer, which in turn made the mayor and her husband thousands.
The state Ethics Commission is also still investigating Haynie.
