Hot Take: Let's start with a reminder about what bigotry is:

a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.
So, by definition if you're engaged in the Publix boycott you're a bigot. Congrats! What's more is the extent to which the Tampa Bay Times and the Sentinel papers have gone to bring this about in the first place. As I immediately ID'd there was a coordinated effort to "report", all of the sudden, that over the past three years Publix had donated 74,000+ chicken tender subs to Putnam. I predicted that it seemed suspicious as an effort to alert radical activists that blame the NRA rather than Nikolas Cruz for the killing at Stoneman Douglas. Sure enough the next day the activists began their boycott efforts and here were are a week later with the Sentinel and a myriad of other media outlets still attempting to stir the pot to harm the largest private employer in the state of Florida.
It's disgusting and it's meant to bully/intimidate any other companies who dare ever show support to candidates that the bigots at these alleged news organizations don't agree with politically.
