Hot Take: That's one way of looking at it... If you've already lost a lot, there's much less to lose. There is a lot of room for "good news" however... We haven't had a hurricane strike Florida in at least three consecutive years in 68 years. The debris has almost completely been dealt with in the Keys. The insurance market in Florida was healthy and is healthy and as a result – most homes that could be repaired have been. And there's always the silver lining that a bad day in the Keys is better than just about anywhere else.
