The Florida Amendment Series: Complete recap of all 12 Amendments
Bottom Line: I've competed the breakdown of all 12 of Florida’s Amendments. I’ve received numerous requests to have all of them in one place so you’re able to easily obtain information about all of them without having to seek each entry over the past couple of weeks. Here’s a link to each entry (along with my thoughts about Amendment 8 which wasn’t allowed to be voted on by the Florida Supreme Court).
Florida’s Supreme Court rules, exposes itself on proposed amendments (About what would have been Amendment 8)
Here are the amendments I recommend Yes votes on:
1, 2, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13
Here are the amendments I recommend No votes on:
3, 4, 7, 9
I encourage you to read through my summations of those Amendments and to share them. Historically most people who aren’t familiar with Amendments do one of two things in the booth. They’ll leave them blank or they’ll vote in favor of them. For whatever reason uncertainty often is met with a yes vote than a no. This is also true and important of local ballot questions emphasizing the need to become informed about them as well.
