America’s newest millionaires for 2019 defy all stereo-types

America’s newest millionaires for 2019 defy all stereo-types

Bottom Line: I love talking about new millionaires. I always have. Not because I’m an elitist, it’s just the opposite, it’s because I love regular people achieving financial success. It’s what this country is all about. As my millionaire plan demonstrates, the average person making the average income can become a millionaire within 25 years with a bit of diligence saving and investing. Ramsey Solutions just wrapped up a study on the newest millionaires for 2019 that demonstrate just that in spades. Here’s what they found.

  • 80% of new millionaires have been made through their 401k or 403b plans
  • Average age of a new millionaire is 49
  • The top five professions for new millionaires are engineers, accountants, teachers, attorneys & managers

How great is all of that...? And yes, teachers are the third most common profession for new millionaires being minted (laying to waste multiple myths regarding that profession). Once again it illustrates the points about the view of the possible. It’s really just a matter of making decent decisions and a bit of diligence.
