- The House Education Committee passed a bill creating a new voucher program – The Family Empowerment Scholarship program that’d enable families our four earning up to $77,250 per year to participate in the upcoming school year with the threshold rising to $96k+ in future years (this version goes much further than the state senate proposal)
- Legislation that’d redefine the threshold for felony theft as $750 or greater passed a senate committee. The current threshold in Florida is $300
