  • The bill expanding school voucher programs to include private schools passed the full Legislature and is on its way to Governor DeSantis
  • The state Senate voted to raise the age to purchase tobacco and vaping products from 18 to 21 
  • A bill mandating the Florida Department of Health provide opioid alternative information to patients being treated for pain passed the full Legislature
  • The bill banning local governments from banning plastic straws passed the state Senate
