- State Senator Lauren Book is calling for an FDLE investigation into PBSO’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein's work release time. Sheriff Rick Bradshaw opened in an internal affairs investigation last week to inspect allegations that Epstein had engaged in sexual contact with minors during work release time.
- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement recommended the purchase of a nine-passenger Cessna for Florida’s Governor. This wasn’t a concern while Rick Scott was governor as he used his personal plane but Governor DeSantis’s use of a confiscated plane by the state resulted in an emergency situation earlier this year that required an emergency landing. $3.8 million was included in the state’s budget for the purchase of an aircraft.
- Space Florida received a $90 million federal grant to replace a bridge from the Indian River Lagoon to Cape Canaveral
- Today the Palm Beach County School District meets to consider Allison Castellano for principal of Spanish River High School. This while former principal William Latson is now having his incident “investigated”. He has not been fired and is under contract through June 30th of next year.
