- US Sugar has sued the Army Corps of Engineers over their recent discharges which they say have been altered without an environmental impact study. Lake O’ has been kept at a lower level this year than in previous years going into the summer months to attempt to prevent discharges during times of algal blooms which have been an enormous problem for waterways in recent years.
