  • The state’s Physician Certification Pattern Review Panel has flagged 89 doctors that have issued patient medical marijuana certifications. More than 1200 physicians are authorized to recommend patients for medical marijuana,however more than half of all recipients in Florida have been referred by just 89 doctors.Officials are concerned that this might be the latest version of a pill mill operation in Florida
  • In Florida, three deaths have been attributed to hurricane Dorian thus far. Two of those deaths occurred while people were evacuating
  • Water test results for beaches across the state will be released today to see if it’s safe to go to the beach again after Dorian. Brevard and St. Lucie Counties currently have swim advisories currently in place
  • While the tropics remain active as we approach the historical peak of hurricane season next week,all systems currently in the Atlantic and Gulf are projected to steer clear of Florida – this is useful if you’re attempting to decide whether to take shutters and boards down after Dorian
