  • Florida’s property values are estimated to rise at twice the national average over the next year according to Zillow. Nationally prices are estimated to appreciate at just over 2% compared to greater than 4% in Florida driven by demand and lower mortgage rates.
  • Three Florida cities are in the top ten for home flipping - #3 Miami, #4 Tampa, #8 Orlando
  • Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran has begun the rollout of Florida’s proposed academic standards changes. Details are light thus far, but an elimination of Common Core is among the changes. Governor DeSantis tasked Corcoran with meaningful changes including the elimination of Common Core to rollout in 2020.
  • A class action lawsuit filed in Florida,states that CBD products are commonly mislabeled and aren’t reliable for users to trust.This is an issue acknowledged by Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried. She stated regulation would be coming in June though no known changes have taken place as of now.
