Media Bias: Impeachment Hearing Coverage almost all negative for Trump
Bottom Line: When 90% of all news coverage of the Trump administration is negative on ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and NBC – it's hard to be much more negative. Prior to the impeachment proceedings – the Media Research Center and their Newsbusters arm, found that between 90% to 91% of all news coverage of President Trump’s administration has been negative across those five networks. Meaning that less than 10% of their news coverage is neutral or positive coverage. Stunning, and record setting as it is for negativity, they’ve outdone themselves during the impeachment inquiry process.
Since the inquiry was announced they’ve found that 96% of all Trump administration coverage is negative. In other words, on ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and NBC - only 4% of stories are even objectively presented. Four out of 100 stories! Pretty incredible! It’s also highly instructive. Is it any wonder that trust in news media has never been lower? And why should it be? If 96% of everything Trump were realistically negative it’s not possible,we’d have near record low unemployment, record opportunity, record high wages, record low unemployment for every minority group and record high retirement account balances among other things... The more you know (wink).
