Disney Closing All Stores And Hotels

Disney is making additional changes in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Disney says it's closing all of its stores in North America and all of its owned and operated locations at Downtown Disney in Anaheim and Disney Springs in Orlando on Tuesday, March 17.

All Disney owned hotels at Walt Disney World Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort will also close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March. 20. The company says the date will give guests time to make other arrangements.

Disney says the changes are in line with state and federal guidelines and in an abundance of caution and "in the best interest of our guests and cast members."

Disney closedWalt Disney World and suspended cruise trips over the weekend through the end of the month during Spring Break in Florida, one of the busiest times of the year.
