- With fewer than 3,800 COVID-19 tests reported Sunday, the state had it fewest reported cases since June 23rd. The moving average also remains the lowest since the last week of June. Additionally, the positivity rate has been dropping as well – most recently below 8%.
- More than 2.5 million Floridians have voted in advance of tomorrow’s Florida Primary elections – with 80% of all votes being cast by mail. That compares to just over 2 million heading into the election two years ago setting records for prelection day voting for Florida’s August primaries.
- The Florida Education Association’s lawsuit against the Florida Department of Education - attempting to prevent any classroom education in Florida for the foreseeable future – heads to mediation tomorrow after a Leon County court judge refused to dismiss the case.
- The SEC is starting training camp for all football teams today. This includes all Florida Gators. Head coach Dan Mullen is anticipating all players reporting based a recent survey of players. Other SEC sports began camps two weeks ago.
