  • Today is the voter registration deadline for participation in November 3rd's general election. Early voting will begin two weeks from today on October 19th. Already 350,000+ ballots have been voted by mail.
  • The first known voter fraud attempt for the general election cycle has been thwarted. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 62-year-old Larry Wiggins, a registered Democrat, who requested an absentee ballot for his deceased wife. Upon his arrest he stated he was trying to “test” the system.
