When early voting starts on Monday in Palm Beach County, voters will notice something new at most of those locations...vans, where you can submit your vote-by-mail ballot.
The Supervisor of Elections has leased two dozen vans with federal CARES Act dollars from the state to provide an alternative to dropping a ballot in the mail.
The vans will be at 17 of the 18 early voting sites and another eight will be at various locations throughout the county.
Only the Belle Glade elections office won't have a van in place. There is a ballot drop box there.
Supervisor Wendy Sartory Link said Wednesday that nearly 180,000 mail-in ballots have been received at her office.
