  • The most recent voter registration information from the Florida Division of Elections shows Republicans with their narrowest deficit to Democrats in Florida’s history of record keeping (dating back to 1972). The GOP deficit has been cut to 0.9%. Republicans trailed Democrats by 2.5% on Election Day 2016. This includes gains in voter registration in every swing Congressional District in Florida.
  • An estimated 85,000 felons who haven’t repaid financial obligations as required under Florida law were unlawfully registered to vote according to the Florida Division of Elections. The state is actively working to identify and remove those ineligible registered voters.
  • The Florida University system will still require SAT and/or ACT test minimums for admission in 2021. Some parents had advocated for waiving those requirements due to education disruptions during the pandemic.
  • South Florida’s luxury real-estate market is the hottest in the country and Palm Beach has the single hottest zip code (33480) in the county. Pending homes sales are 62% higher year over year reflecting the continued migration of high net worth individuals from high tax states.
