South Florida Braces For Its Coldest Christmas In 25 Years

It won't be a White Christmas in the Palm Beaches, but it is expected to be the coldest Christmas in years.

Afternoon temperatures for this Christmas Eve will warm up to the low 80s, but the chilly temps move in after the sun goes down.

According to CBS 12 meteorologists, a cold front moves in late Thursday amid a line of downpours. That's what will bring the temperatures down into the 40s and 50s on Friday morning.

Christmas day temperatures will be in the upper 50s. If the forecast holds, it would be the coldest Christmas for South Florida since 1995.

The weather gets even colder Friday night and Saturday morning, with lows dropping into the 30s and 40s.
