- With just over 9,800 new COVID-19 cases reported on Tuesday, the seven-day average of cases in Florida fell to the lowest level since December 31st, with just over 12,200 daily cases.
- According to the Florida Department of Health’s daily reporting, 1,066,107 Floridians have received vaccinations for COVID-19. This includes approximately 966,000 who’ve received a first dose and just over 100,000 who’ve completed the two-dose schedule. Related...
- Governor DeSantis announced a total of 76 new Publix pharmacies which will offer COVID vaccines including all Palm Beach County locations, along with seven in Martin County and two in Monroe. The vaccinations will begin tomorrow at these locations. A third of Florida’s Publix locations will be offering vaccinations by the end of the week. Publix has a signup website for those eligible and desirous of receiving a vaccine.
- On back of “vaccine tourism” concerns, with numerous reports that non-Floridians have traveled to our state to obtain a vaccine ahead of eligible Floridians, Governor DeSantis clarified the state’s eligibility policy. According to the state one must have at least part-time residency in our state to obtain a vaccine.
