- Florida’s coronavirus trend continued to improve Tuesday. With 9,594 new COVID-19 cases reported, the weekly trend for new cases remained the lowest since December 31st. Related...
- More than 1.4 million Floridians have been vaccinated as of Tuesday’s report from the Florida Department of Health. About 38,000 Floridian’s received immunizations over the prior day. This includes 1270,739 people who’ve received a first dose and 175,841 Floridians who’ve completed both doses. Speaking of vaccines...
- After the Biden administration indicated Florida had only administered half of the vaccines made available to the state by the federal government, Governor DeSantis addressed the false narrative he called disingenuous. While pointing out Florida’s rollout has been the most efficient of any large state in the country, according to CDC data, he also pointed out that almost all unadministered vaccines on hand are second doses which will be administered on schedule once those who’ve received the first dose are able to receive them.
- While South Florida’s ports have held out hope cruises still might be possible in the first half of the year, Port Canaveral has announced they no longer see any cruises resuming in the first half of 2021. As part of a revised budget outlook, the Port announced the soonest they see the potential for a resumption of service is July.
