Top Three Takeaways – March 15th, 2021

  1. South Florida’s vaccines outpace the state. Did you know that South Florida’s tri-county has not only administered the largest number of vaccines in state, but that we’ve also received more vaccines than our population adjusted share? While investigating the most recent claims/smears against Governor DeSantis regarding alleged pay for play vax sites (and the typically uninspired efforts by news media to get to the truth) a funny thing happened. Not only is there no evidence that Republican strongholds have received preferential treatment for vaccines to date; the single biggest oversupply of vaccines relative to population anywhere in the state is in South Florida. Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties have the three largest populations of Democrats and account for 28.6% of Florida’s population. So how many vaccines have been available to administer? 29% of Florida’s total supply. As always, there are two sides to stories and one side to facts. And as usual your news media remains interested in reporting anti-DeSantis narratives as opposed to actually investigating the facts and the reporting them as I’ve once again done. Also as usual, no one else will report on my report despite my indisputable findings. That’s because...
  2. The most pervasive form of bias in news media remains omission. It’s true of Florida’s vaccines and it remains true regarding the stimulus checks. 85% of households will be receiving stimulus checks. Included in the eligibility pool are felons and unknown numbers of illegal immigrants in California, Colorado and Maryland which have enabled illegal immigrants to receive refundable tax credits authorized by the federal government. It’s quite remarkable when 15% of the legal citizens, incidentally, paying approximately 78% of the federal income tax burden, are cut out of the stimulus – however felons and some illegal immigrants are cut in. The question then becomes about what other really bad decisions have been made within this legislation? But you’re not supposed to care, the news media and the Democrats in Washington just want you to continue to believe the evil rich still don’t pay their fair share of taxes and that the $1,400 is free money. What they don’t want you to know is that your household just took on an additional $14,000 of debt that will have to be paid back with interest in time. And by the way...about paying this all back. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi already hinted about raising taxes over the weekend... As though President Biden’s decision to restrict US energy production and supply hasn’t already acted like a huge tax increase every time you go to the gas station... But there remains room for optimism because Florida is still awesome and well represented and there are still people like Elon Musk who will call it like it is...
  3. Woketopia. Battle for the Moral High Ground in this new game! That was a tweet from Elon Musk on Saturday. He’s awesome and he’s honest. In fact, about the only thing Florida’s missing at this point is having Elon move more than just Space Ex here. Incidentally, Woketopia will be the game specifically designed for those who wake up every day waiting to be offended by something. I’m not certain but I believe it’s a battle for socialist supremacy by those who are Muppet Offended. Ok, someone should really make this game. Anyway, here’s to an entirely unoffended day. May God bless you and I’d encourage you to share the same. Especially with those who might be Woketopia players, they likely need the message the most.
