- 60 Minutes is fake news but state and local news media who allowed for the conditions that produced the fake news hit piece on Governor DeSantis to be possible are also just as guilty. As Palm Beach County Mayor Dave Kerner stated – the 60 Minutes reporting was intentionally false. But so too has been the reporting of Florida’s Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, Florida’s most expedient politician Charlie Crist and Palm Beach County’s term-limited Melissa McKinlay who is attempting to gain notoriety in Democrat circles to make a run for the state legislature. For weeks Floridians have been subjected to incessant lies and baseless claims of vaccine impropriety by the DeSantis administration. Despite the lack of evidence of any of these claims, your state and local news has chosen to simply provide a platform to Fried, Crist, McKinlay and others who've been lying with impunity. They’ve made repeated baseless claims of what would be criminal acts by our governor and related officials if true, and they simply get reported. Baseless claims which meet the legal definition of slander - which makes news media complicit. How many times did you hear the phrase “baseless claims” in reference to President Trump’s voter fraud allegations? And yet how many times have you heard “baseless claims” used when news outlets report allegations by Fried, Crist & others? And this is far from new behavior by our news media. Remember when the human train wreck, known as Andrew Gillum, came within 18,000 votes of becoming our governor? If state and local news media did their job to investigate allegations and to hold those in power accountable to their claims – there wouldn’t be the opportunity for 60 Minutes to exploit the dishonest claims of these politicians nationally. Yes, this is about CBS News and 60 Minutes, but it’s possible because of dereliction of duty by state and local news media.
- Woke Stupid. You have the well versed and planned wokesters who want to radically transform our society and then you have the useful fools who are new to the game. Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred is the later. How do I know? Aside from his Augusta National membership he still retains, as Senator Rubio pointed out, what he just did in the theoretical name of racial justice over voter suppression is legendarily woke stupid. He moved the Major League Baseball All Star game and draft out of a city which is 51% Black into one that is 69% White – with a ten percent Black population. The entire charade is stupid. But in the case of Rob Manfred – he's woke stupid. And you thought Bud Selig was bad? Speaking of sports...
- Dude looks like a Lady. What are the odds Aerosmith would be cancelled today if they were to newly release that song? Anyway, according to the Miami Heat, dudes who look like ladies, or maybe just identify with them should be able to play competitive sports as girls in school. This as the Heat put out a statement opposing the proposed Florida legislation entitled Sex-specific Student Athletic Teams or Sports, which dares define eligibility for grade school athletics on one’s biological sex. The Political Action Committee, which also plays basketball occasionally, known as the Miami Heat had this to say: The Miami HEAT champions diversity and inclusion both on and off the court. We believe sports are at their best when they bring people together to work, to play and to create a sense of belonging for all. Every young person deserves the opportunity to participate in athletics and experience the critical life lessons that sports offer such as wellness, dedication, problem-solving, and leadership. Sports should be welcoming for all. That’s a bunch of NBA players saying if a dude looks like a lady or maybe feels like one, they should compete with your daughter. And shower with her too. After all, once you identify as something, what you were actually born into this world as doesn’t exist anymore right? What could go wrong? Larry Johnson wouldn’t even have to pretend to be Grandmama today. But he’d now probably be canceled too.
