The full-sized South Florida Fair is back in West Palm Beach with this year's theme "An Earthly A-Fair."
Exhibits will focus on keeping our waterways clean.
After organizers decided to hold a "mini-fair" back in January due to the pandemic, which only had outdoor events and kids rides, this time it will look more like the fair attendees are used to experiencing.
The expo center will be full with displays and vendors and the midway will feature kids and adult rides, as well as the standard fair food.
The fair runs everyday through May 23rd.
What's changed this time around?
It's the first time in 109 years that the South Florida Fair is being held in the month of May. That means it will be warmer than it usually is, so the ticket booths and entrance gates have been moved from outside to inside.
Another big change from the "mini" fair in January is that you won't be required to wear a mask while enjoying the fair this time around. Organizers, however, are strongly recommending it. They are making masks mandatory for staff, vendors and volunteers.
There is also a new contactless ticketing system at the gates and on the midway.
Free fair tickets will be offered to those attending during one of the first four days, then getting their COVID vaccinations done on the way out.
