- Florida’s coronavirus trend continued lower for a 22nd consecutive day on Wednesday. 3,184 new cases were reported by the Florida Department of Health dropping Florida’s weekly trend for cases to 3,517 per day - the lowest since October 25th.
- 9.4 million Floridians, including 54% of all adults, have now been vaccinated with at least a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine with 7.25 million who’ve now completed a vaccine series.
- FPL has new technology and tools they’ll deploy to access damage and start the recovery process following storm damage. FPL will use robotic dogs and new drones to access remote and high-risk sites and to begin the recovery process.
- Governor DeSantis signed two environmental bills into law. The legislation creates Florida’s Resilient Grant Program which will provide local governments the opportunity to create resiliency plans to combat sea-level rise/flooding and have them funded by the state.
