  • Florida reported 10,162 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday – the fewest since July 20th. Florida’s trend for new COVID-19 cases is down to 16,363 daily over the past week - the lowest since July 30th. Related...
  • COVID-19 hospitalizations fell by another 159 patients on Tuesday. 13,292 Floridians are currently hospitalized – the lowest Since August 9th. 
  • The state isn’t officially issuing grades for schools for the 2020-2021 school year due to the pandemic, however had they, up to a third of all Palm Beach County Schools would have received a “D” or “F” last year based on student performance – with up to a half of Broward’s schools in the same boat. Declines occurred with top performing schools as well with about 75% fewer “A” rated schools. 
  • Governor DeSantis publicly addressed speculation he may run for president in 2024. When asked by a reporter about whether he’s considering a run he said “I hear all this stuff and honestly it’s nonsense. All the speculation about me is purely manufactured.
